What is the lead time on commissions?
If you have chosen a commission on the website there’s a wait time of between 7-10 days including delivery, if for any reason this changes due to shows or seasonal busy periods
Do you ship abroad?
We do, currently we offer this option at a standard flat rate but this will be changing as we take into consideration sizes and weights.
Do you do wedding items?
Yes yes and yes! From favours to buttonholes, we can help you design the perfect rustic wedding, with our exclusive range of three packages to suit your needs. The packages are variable in order to personalise our services to meet your requirements.
Which fares do you go to?
With the show scene still pretty new to us, we are still testing out the fares that work best for our range of products. For 2021 we are looking at Scone Palace (the Scottish game fair) northern shooting show, the game fair, the Yorkshire show, the Northumberland County show, as well as living north fairs and the Durham Christmas festival. This list is subject to change and for updates please follow our Facebook account and check the events section.
How do you make your products?
Our products are made on an eco-farm, using feathers sourced in accordance with the wildlife act passed to us from gamekeepers, game dealers, members of the public, and other such like. No feathers are sourced to complete a project, and with this in mind our stock list can change significantly throughout the year. If you see something you like, grab it now! As it may not be around next month.
How do I send photos for the commissions?
We are currently working on this issue on the website but until we have the download link available, please send any commission pictures through to email@example.com
Can you make commissioned products out of my spent shells?
Of course! Just send us an email with your ideas and the products you would like us to commission to firstname.lastname@example.org and we will work with you to find the best fit for your Spent shells.
Who do you use as a courier?
Most of our standard packages currently go out second-class Royal mail with proof of postage on each item. If you have a larger item that needs to be dispatched this goes out via Hermes usually tracked first class delivery. If for any reason you need your parcel sooner please contact us at email@example.com
Can I make up my own gift boxes?
Yes of course, a gift box can also be done by adding the gift box option next to the add to basket option.
Can I choose the colours of my baubles?
The standard boxes of baubles consist of a partridge and pheasant as standard, with other options such as grouse, guineafowl, peacock or unique one offs.
What size are the baubles?
The baubles measure 6cm width and height with cartridge topper is 7cm.
Can I collect?
If your local to Hexham then under normal circumstances yes, however with Covid at the stage it is currently we are not accepting local pick up
Can I commission pins for my own hat?
Yes of course! You are more than welcome to tell use the type of fedora/cap/hat and your colour or feather choices and we will fashion you a personalised pin.

How much is a personalisation?
This totally depends on the product you are looking to personalise, under most headings there should be an option with pricing but if you are looking for a different item, please contact us at firstname.lastname@example.org
What size wreaths do you do?
Currently the three sizes we stock are 25 cm, 35 cm, and the larger 45/50 cm.
What colours of wreaths do you do?
Well this is a tricky one….We can make wreaths in a variety of colours, however the website holds stock of the standard colours we are in able to produce regularly throughout the year. Different seasons denote the availability of certain feather types, as well as stock received, if you’re after something specific and can’t see it on the website please don’t hesitate to contact us at email@example.com.
Do you supply wholesale?

What kind of picture should I send for a commission?
When looking for a photo to send for your commission, please bear in mind that this will be monochrome, so a standard photo of the subject sitting or standing will be the easiest to depict on our products.
What feathers do you make your things from?
We can use most feathers for your project, remember if they are dropped feathers from an endangered or protected species that is not native to the UK, that you may keep at home the feather itself will be your property and I can only charge for my time on this project.
Do you do a bulk discount?
We offer a wholesale service for shops or other online retailers who may want to stock our products. If you are a customer who is looking to purchase a greater quantity of a specific item, please drop us a message at email@example.com What payment methods do you take?
Do you do fascinators?
We do! These aren’t currently listed on our website as they are all individually made for individual purpose, but if you email us with your chosen event colour of fascinator required and any other information you may have, we will work with you to design a fascinator for your outfit.
Whats in the gift box collections?
The standard items are listed under the gift box product, for both men and women, however these can be altered to your specific requirements by contacting us with any commission items you may want included, or item swapped for something else.
Can I choose the gifts inside the crackers?
Within reason…. The standard crackers come with a range of suitably diverse products, with only one pair of earrings, the crackers can be commissioned to suit all persons around your table. You can add child suitable gifts and also commission gifts to make these even more exclusive. (there is an additional cost for commissioned items within the crackers.
How long do things take on backorder?
With us still being a small business sometimes our products have to go onto backorder, this usually means there could be up to ten days until this product comes back into stock, however if one is made up it will be despatched straight away, Email if you need any more help
Can I send things in to be engraved?
You can, although these will be sent at your own risk, we can not ensure the safe arrival of all products, so would recommend a safe delivery/courier company is used.
Can I order things to be collected at shows?
yes, if you contact us and make prepayment we can ensure the stock is bagged and ready for you to collect at one of the many shows we attend throughout the country, check our events guide on social media to see where we are going this year!
